All Out, an organation which tries to address problems affecting the LGBT community on a global scale, is organising a Global Speak Out day against the Russian anti-gay laws, scheduled for September 3rd, and there is a list of countries on their website, allout.org listing those participating so far, of which Ireland is one.
Moscow is taken from Punch, the début album of London pop/rock group, Autoheart. The song (and its video) have been described by the band as being about “the optimism of love and LGBT rights in Russia”.
