Watch: Bisexual Jamaican Denied Asylum in UK

A bisexual man from Jamaica was refused his request for asylum in the United Kingdom, and now faces deportation to his home country where he faces persecution due to his sexual orientation.

Orashia Edwards, 32, has been living in Leeds for the past 14 years, but recently lost a lengthy battle with the UK Home Office. While the British authorities would not discuss the details with the media, it was reported that Mr Edwards’ claims of being a bisexual man were considered “dishonest”.

It is expected that Edwards will be deported from the United Kingdom today, July 2, leaving behind a young daughter.
