An American cable television provider has created an advert featuring a gay couple as part of their NFL coverage campaign.
The American cable TV company, DirecTV, is currently promoting their NFL Sunday Ticket package for subscribers in the United States. As part of their advertising campaign, one of their adverts (above) features a gay couple, both of whom are big fans of American football.
The advert, being hailed as the first LGBT-inclusive advert of its kind, has gained a lot of praise from the LGBT community and their supporters. One YouTube user commented:
“There are all kinds of football fans out there, everyone. And not every gay couple follows the common stereotypes that we still often see. It’s so real, and so refreshing to see a couple like these fans.”
