Global Action for Trans Equality (GATE), American Jewish World Service (AJWS), and Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice have launched new surveys for trans and intersex organisations and programmes.
These surveys, available in English, French, Spanish, Russian and Mandarin, are a follow up to the 2013 Trans and Intersex Funding Survey.
They are aimed at continuing to impact funding globally by providing updated information about the sources of funding trans and intersex groups receive, the barriers to funding they face, their leadership structures and their organizational needs in 2016.
If you work with a intersex organization or program, please complete the survey at:
The only criteria for the intersex survey is that the group or program work specifically and primarily on intersex issues.
If you work with a trans organization or program, please complete the survey at:
The only criteria for the trans survey is that the group or program work specifically and primarily on trans issues.
If your group works with both trans and intersex people, please take both surveys.
Informal or unregistered groups are encouraged to take the survey. Your responses are anonymous and individual answers will be kept completely confidential.
The survey takes less than 20 minutes for a typical organization, although organizations with complex structures or funding may take longer. Tech support (in English only) is available for groups that find the survey confusing or difficult, including the ability to take it over the phone with a research associate.
