Music superstar, Justin Timberlake, and acclaimed director, Jonathan Demme, team up for a visionary concert-film experience with the new Netflix release, Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids.
Timberlake—who dedicates the film to Prince (“You can hear his influence all over my music”)—says that the movie was an artistic inspiration:
“I think myself and my team just felt like there were so many elements that came together so well for this show—from the technical aspects and visual effects that we were able to accomplish to the musicianship and talent that was formed together every night on the stage. It really felt like a moment that should be captured. Also, I’m not getting any younger, so there’s that too”.
Along with his band and dancers – the Tennessee Kids – Timberlake will have you on your feet, and singing along, from ‘Cry Me a River’ to ‘Mirrors’. The Netflix Original Film, which premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, gives you the best seat in the house for the final show of the 20/20 Experience World Tour, at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, in January 2015.
Starring Justin Timberlake, directed by Jonathan Demme, and produced by Gary Goetzman, Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids is a Playtone Production, acquired by Netflix. Rocco Caruso, H.H. Cooper, Rick Yorn, Johnny Wright and Michael Rapino serve as Executive Producers. Live Nation Productions financed the film.
