In addition to promoting Paris 2018 – Gay Games 10, the Paris 2018 team, with support from FGG (Federation of Gay Games), is very busy organizing and finalizing plans for the 36 sports and 14 cultural events that will take place next year.
The recent Tournoi International de Paris (the TIP) welcomed over 2,000 participants for a weekend of sports and fun in Paris. This 14th event of the TIP was a great ‘warm-up’ for next year’s Gay Games 10, from 4th to 12th August, and reflects the experience and unity of the Paris and French LGBT sports and culture community, according to the Federation of Gay Games.
The Opening Party, which will take place at the beautiful and historic Grand Palais after the Opening Ceremony, will be organized with the support of Nissim. Tickets are available now on the website www.paris2018.com.
Manuel Picaud, Co-President, participated in the מצעד הגאווה בתל אביב / Tel-Aviv Pride Parade, accompanied by the Ambassador of France. During his visit in Israel, Manuel also met with several sport and cultural group, including FGG member TLV LGBT Sports. Manuel’s trip was organized and sponsored by the Embassy of Israel in France and the French Institute.
In July and August, Paris 2018 representatives will be meeting with clubs and organizations in USA: Boston, Salem (MA), New York, Philadelphia, and Europe: France, Amsterdam, Prague, Hambourg, Berlin, Vienna, and Lisbon. Later this year, Paris 2018 representatives will be visiting the USA’s West Coast.
