Following a whirlwind 20 months since the release of his debut album, ‘Bitter Pill’, which saw Gavin James sell over 2 million singles worldwide, amass ½ billion streams on Spotify alone, and perform over 500 shows to over 3.2 million people at festivals and sold-out tours across US, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia, Gavin James has established himself as one of the leading breakthrough artists of the past year.
With all these impressive accolades so early on in his career, it’s hard to believe that artist Gavin James is not already a household name and global superstar. This, however, is all about to change, with the release of Gavin James’ new single ‘Hearts On Fire’, the first track to be lifted off his sophomore album (due in Spring 2018).
Produced with Steve Robson (One Direction, John Legend, James Bay) and co-written with Sam Romans (Little Mix, Mary J Blige, Rag n Bone Man) Hearts On Fire – complete with its infectious chants and hooky chorus – is already a fan favourite when performed live on tour, and is poised to become an instant classic upon release.
Given his captivating live performances, it’s no surprise Gavin James has found fans in many of his fellow musical peers, and, as a result, has been invited to support acts including Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Niall Horan amongst others, as well as being invited to collaborate on tracks with Alan Walker (on the summer smash, ‘Tired’) and on Australian Hip-Hop act, Bliss n Eso’s Aria Award nominated ‘Moments’.
There’s no doubt from all the achievements outlined above, alongside his smash hit, ‘Nervous’ hitting No.1 everywhere from Holland to Brazil, that the foundations have been set for Gavin James to become a global superstar in 2018 and beyond.
