Listen: The Ramona Flowers – Same Sun

On EILE‘s Monday music slot, we feature old favourites, The Ramona Flowers, with a great new track, Same Sun. The electro-pop 80s-style track is about those times when you feel like an outsider, and as if you don’t belong, but in the end the lyrics tell us we all live under the ‘same sun’. The UK-based, 5-piece band count Bono among their fans, Peter Gabriel, Phoenix and M83 among their influences, and the track was produced by heavyweight, Chris Zane (Bat for Lashes, Mumford and Sons). They also have a UK tour coming up in March, which includes Bristol, Manchester, London and Glasgow. If you’re anywhere near those areas, (and even if you’re not) this band is well worth travelling to see! Have a listen to Same Sun, and you’ll know the great tunes you can expect to hear at any of their performances. Enjoy!
