Easter Holidays Abroad – last chance to vaccinate

If you are planning on travelling abroad during the Easter holidays, then don’t forget your vaccinations!

In many countries around the world, vaccine preventable diseases are still common. Vaccination before travel is imperative to ensure global public health, and to help you stay healthy during and after your travels.

Some vaccines require at least a couple of doses spaced out, so the medical professionals at Tropical Medical Bureau suggest that you visit a clinic ASAP. While it is recommended to receive vaccinations at least four weeks in advance, it is not too late to protect yourself.
Health risks vary from country to country, so make sure to seek advice from a travel health expert in advance of your Easter getaway. You can also see vaccination requirements for your destination on the TMB website.
It is crucial to remember that certain vaccinations are compulsory in some countries. In these cases, you will need to show an International Certificate of Vaccination to gain access to the country in question.
Other vaccinations are recommended, and can be further discussed during your consultation. However, TMB’s travel health experts recommend that you do everything you can to guard yourself against illness and disease. This will ensure your Easter trip is a healthy one,  wherever you go.
