NI: Trans Pride #Rally4GenderEquality – 2 June at 12.30pm


Trans Pride NI would like to invite you to a rally for Gender Equality, to be held at Writer’s Square, Donegall Street, Belfast, on 2nd June 2018, from 12.30 to 2.00pm, with post-rally events including films, music, and stalls going on until 5pm.

The first ever Trans Pride in Ireland main event is the #Rally4GenderEquality

The Theme is: Solidarity – come join us and show your solidarity if you believe in equality regardless of gender.

With GUEST SPEAKERS including:

Kellie Maloney (CBB, Presenter & Speaker) Gerry Carroll MLA (PBP) William Ennis (PUP) Alicia V Perry (Author & Campaigner) Billy Gamble (Equality Commission) Boyd Sleator (NI Humanists) & TBC (Genderjam).

Post-Rally events

1-4pm: The Sunflower, Union Street, will have many stalls & useful information as well as music & refreshments. Free films showing in the upstairs room. Licensed Premises Wheelchair accessible. Dog Friendly.

1-4pm: Roof Garden, Union Bar, Union Street, for those who fancy a catchup over a drink/some food. Licensed Premises. Wheelchair accessible.

1-4pm: Clements Coffee Shop, Royal Avenue, for families with children or who just want to catch up over coffee/tea. Wheelchair accessible.

5pm: Roof Garden/Union Street Bar for the afterparty. Licensed Premises. Wheelchair accessible.

We are encouraging people to make signs/placards/posters, but please refrain from vulgarity and/or defamatory language.

Everyone over 16 welcome, children under 16 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
