This morning we have an amazing alt/soul singer-songwriter in EILE’s Friday music slot. California-based Kaely sings You’ll Always Love Me, a ‘somebody done somebody wrong’ song, with a passionate vocal and powerful instrumental. Think Amy Winehouse or Sam[antha] Brown, and you have some idea of what Kaely sounds like!
Kaely says the song was based on a real relationship with her first real love, who cheated on her, and this great song is the result. Kaely loves classic soul songs, and large orchestration, and this track has an explosive and confident chorus, to make it clear that the no matter what happens in his life, ‘you will still be a thought at the back of his mind’.
We think this song might be a classic that will always be at the back of your mind, so go on, have a listen, and see what you think.
Kaely’s self-titled album will be out in the Spring of 2019.
