Northern Irish duo, The Japanese Popstars (Gary Curran and Gareth Donoghue) have for years been lighting up the worldwide stage with their House-inspired tracks.
You couldn’t go anywhere near a dance festival without the Japanese Popstars being mentioned. From Dublin to New York to Japan, The Japanese Popstars have done it all, including appearing live on stage with Kasabian during the MTV Music Awards in 2011.
Their second studio album, Controlling Your Allegiance, featured guest vocals from Robert Smith (The Cure), James Vincent McMorrow, Green Velvet, Lisa Hannigan, Tom Smith (Editors), Dot JR, Morgan Kibby (M83) and Jon Spencer (Blues Explosion). In 2014, they could be heard on the famous 2014 Fifa Video Game, with arguably their most famous and best track, Let Go.
