Based on the book of the same title by RTÉ’s Charlie Bird, A Day in May portrays the journey of Ireland’s LGBT+ community from the dark days of 1983 right up to 2015’s historic Marriage Equality referendum. The cast includes Mark O’Regan, Norma Sheahan, Arthur Riordan, Amy Conroy, Mary Murray, Clodagh Mooney Duggan, Conor Gormally & Anthony Kinahan, and proceeds from the tickets sold go to Pieta House. The play takes place for one night only at the Pavilion Theatre, located at the heart of Dún Laoghaire.
