Week two of the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival begins tonight with 10 brand new shows, running for 57 performances over the next seven days. The festival, now in it’s 16th year celebrates global LGBT+ theatre and culture like no other festival does, bringing a selection of the most energetic and creative LGBT+ people in the industry to Dublin for two weeks each May.
Festival PR Director, Sean Hegarty said:
“As we say so long, farewell auf wiedersehen, goodbye to our fabulous week one plays, we look forward to the beginning of week two……. So clear your diaries, gird your loins and make way for 10 brand new shows in our jam-packed week two programme, running for 57 performances from tonight (Monday 13th) until Sunday 19th across four Dublin city centre stages”.
Mr Hegarty continued:
“You don’t have to be LGBT+ to enjoy our shows. There’s something for everyone LGBT+ or not in our programme; historical pieces, comedy pieces, contemporary pieces. A memorable night of theatre is guaranteed, so grab some tickets and make a night of it”.
