Dublin Pride Events Today And Tomorrow 26th & 27th!

Just a reminder of some of the Pride events going on today and tomorrow. There’s sure to be something to suit everyone!

Wednesday, June 26th

Join Aoife Convery, one of the Gallery’s highly-trained tour guides, for a free lunchtime talk on the work of gay artists Patrick Scott and Gerard Dillon

Sports & Fittness Markievicz Centre, Luke St, Dublin 2.
Dublin City Council host these events with all proceeds going to BelongTo Youth services. They are open to all to attend. Classes are fun fitness, and cater for all levels. There are limited places available. Activities are open to all over 16 years of age to attend.

National Gallery of Ireland, Merrion Square, Dublin 2.
Join one of the Gallery’s highly trained tour guides for a free tour exploring the LGBTQIA+ works in the Gallery’s permanent collection.

CHQ, Custom House Quay, Dublin 1.
Adam Long with a panel of leading social and political thinkers, to debate how to advance LGBT equality, 50 years since the Stonewall Riots, and 40 years since the foundation of the National LGBT Federation in Ireland.

Join Girls Night In for a special screening of ‘Outitude’ a documentary on Irish Lesbian herstories. Director Sonya Mulligan and Producer Geraldine Moane will be in attendance.

Join Dublin Lesbian Line in the The Tara Building for a night of activism and empowerment, as they launch the findings from the first ever Irish research project into sexual harassment of LGBTQIA+ Women*, featuring music from Molly Sterling and other guests.

This talk by Lori Moriarty, Laois County Library, will explore the story of the Ladies of Llangollen, two aristocratic women who left the homes of their families at Kilkenny Castle and Woodstock House, to build a life together in romantic solitude in Wales.
