NYC: First Genderqueer Drag Queen For Dreamwalk Fashion Show

The DreamWalk Fashion Show (now in its third year) has announced that their very first disabled genderqueer drag queen has joined the model lineup for this year’s show, at the Live Nation’s Gramercy Theatre in NYC, on September 15.

Pink Oracle, a disability rights advocate from Philadelphia, will be joining all the other fabulous and uniquely beautiful models, as they strut down the runway, during this year’s New York Fashion Week.

DreamWalk is the only extravagant, costume-themed fashion show, featuring the 99% of people who don’t meet restrictive ‘model’ criteria.

Their Inclusive runway event highlights individuals of all genders, sizes, ages, ethnicities, sexualities, and abilities.  Formerly dubbed by the media as the “Anti-Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show”, previous DreamWalk events have garnered international news attention, and accumulated over 45 million views on social media.

After successful shows in New Jersey and Philadelphia, this will be the first show held in New York City.  In addition, the DreamWalk Fashion Show is currently planning a 2020 National tour, to expand the event’s reach.
