On EILE’s music slot today, we feature 17-year-old Australian-born singer/songwriter, mature-beyond-her-years TASH (Palmer), who today releases an atmospheric single, The Signs, a dark, moody, pared-back ballad, with an almost rap-like poetic vocal. The track is from TASH’s first EP called Volume 1.
It’s probably no wonder she has such a mature sound, as TASH was born into a musical family – her mother is a guitar teacher and her father a bass-player. It seems only natural that TASH would start playing guitar and writing songs at an early age. She has also generated 80 million streams for her music with Facebook and Facebook Sound Collection, and has had over 12 million views across all her social media platforms. TASH has sold out numerous shows – Soho House NYC, Sayers Club Los Angeles, Peppermint Club, and Hotel Cafe. She is also the first artist to ever perform on the roof at the Facebook Campus. This is one to listen to late at night, or, scratch that, anytime really!
