Cork Gay Project Highlights!
The Cork Gay Project had Out Past 10s Fall/Halloween Party in the Project last Friday night, with over 30 in attendance. An enjoyable night was had by all, and they can’t wait for the next one. A big thanks to the volunteers who had the place looking smashing on the night!
They’re also off to a great start as part of the Movember campaign. This campaign is specifically aimed at men’s health, raising awareness for Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, and Men’s Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. They will be holding a “Mo-Ment” in the Project near the end of the month, details to be announced!
Another bit of good news for the Cork Gay Project:
This year’s Cork Film Festival has a number of LGBT+ film screenings on its programme.
On Sunday 10th, The Everyman has a showing of And Then We Danced, a film that explores themes of gender and queerness within a conservative religious culture.
