Kerry Pride postponed due to COVID-19

Kerry Pride have announced that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are regrettably postponing their parade and festival.

Their focus is on ensuring that everyone stays safe and well, which means staying home, washing hands regularly, practising physical distancing on the occasions you do need to leave home, and following the latest guidelines from healthcare professionals and the government.

The committee looks forward to bringing Pride back to Kerry, for the first time in five years, once the current crisis has passed.

Morgan Queeney, Kerry Pride chairperson said:

“We hope to celebrate our ‘A Family of Pride’ theme with events later in the year, but everyone’s health and wellbeing is of utmost importance to us. All decisions made will be guided by HSE and government recommendations. We thank the community for their patience and resilience in this time.”
