Awards-Transgender Filmfest in Kiel 2018: This was the 6th Transgender Film Festival in Kiel, Germany, and despite the wonderful sunny weather, crowds of people came to the screenings. On Sunday 6th May, the largest LGBT Pride march so far, with around 7,000 participants, was held in central Tokyo, to bring attention to LGBT issues and to promote equality. Members of all sections of the LGBT community took part, with rainbow-coloured banners highlighting the importance of tolerance in society, and using the word ‘equal’.
