Copenhagen Renames Town Square ‘Rainbow Square’ in Honour of LGBT Community

Copenhagen now has a town square named in honour of the LGBT community and their campaign rights and equality worldwide. Regnbuepladsen, which translates from Danish as ‘Rainbow Square’, was voted by local councillors to be the new name of Rådhuspladsen, situated in central Copenhagen and home to Oscar Bar, a popular gay café bar.
