Idaho’s Governor, C.L. ‘Butch’ Otter, a Republican, has been denied a stay on the ruling that Idaho’s gay marriage ban is unconstitutional, by the federal judge who struck it down. Chief Magistrate Judge Candy Wagahoff Dale ruled that the ban was unconstitutional, as it violates couples’ equal protection under the Fourteenth Amendment.
