The Madras High Court has ordered that transgender woman, K Prithika Yashini, be appointed as Sub Inspector of Police, as she deserves the appointment. The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) had initially rejected her application, and so Yashini brought her case to the High Court.
